Essential Visual Enhancementsīuilding off of the Energy Visuals Enhanced mod for Fallout 3, this mod provides new visual effects for wounds, explosions, and character reactions. Improved Heavy Weapons Texturesįollowing the WRP, this update replaces the vanilla textures for many of the heavy weapons found throughout New Vegas, including the minigun, flamer and several missile launchers.ĭownload it here. For lower-resolution versions, check out the Poco Bueno Texture Pack instead.ĭownload it here. The main version of this mod increases resolution to 4K and can be merged with NMC's texture pack. Similar to NMC's pack, the Ojo Bueno bundle replaces almost every in-game environmental texture.

Does not replace DLC textures, but is compatible with them.ĭownload it here. The maximum edition comes with 2K textures for most of it's items, though there are lower-resolution variants available if the larger version compromises gameplay. This texture pack updates many of the core New Vegas textures with much better versions. The npcs will be back to looking eh I guess, but at least they wont be purple maybe. The first step to overhauling your copy of New Vegas (after installing the necessary plugins and patches) is to update as many of the in-game textures and models as possible. EDIT: When I disabled both it launches, but I still have to make a new game and travel to a purple npc to see if it's still like that. I have been trying through the steam launch recently and still no dice. Why don't you try to disable both? Or maybe only FNVR? Maybe run the game without the Mod Manager, though the default launcher? Our options are really short here, to be honest. Maybe you could try creating another character to see if the bug keeps going. Now the game crashing on launch when you disable FNV is beyond my knowledge. Generally people there help a lot more that people here. When I try to disable to Fallout NV Redesigned, the game crashes right on launch. Also I have the 1st part of the texture pack.
